About Lisa

Lisa has called South Florida her home for over 47 years. Lisa earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Temple University in 1982. She has been married to John, her high school sweetheart pictured above, for over 35 years. 

Lisa founded Lisa J. Montano, CPA PA in 1990. Over the past 30 years, Lisa's business has focused on helping individuals and small businesses with their taxes, bookkeeping, and other compliance issues, as well as assisting clients with their financial affairs and managing their retirement accounts. Lisa was awarded "Rookie of the Year" in 2004 and "Financial Planner of the Year" in 2005. 

Today, Lisa continues her business from her home office. Along with accounting and tax preparation, Lisa provides the following services to individuals and businesses of all ages and across generations: 

• Investment advisory services (licensed through Latitude Advisors, LLC, Vero Beach, FL)
• IRS representation, 
• New business consulting, 
• CFO/Controller Services, and 
• QBO Bookkeeping. 

Lisa is a member of the specialized tax section of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) accreditation. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP), and the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce.
